Introduction
Spirion’s built-in AnyFind search definitions are supplemented by the extensibility of its Sensitive Data Engine (SDE). It gives console administrators the flexibility to introduce custom search parameters using traditional pattern matching, compound data definitions, and even algorithmic validation.
While creating individual user-defined data types is a straightforward task in the Sensitive Data Platform (SDP) console, importing an XML manifest of custom definitions promotes consistency and allows common use cases to be addressed without having to reinvent the wheel.
This guide introduces GDPR data types as regular expressions that are available for import into SDP.
