We are excited to share the news that Spirion has won four prestigious Global InfoSec Awards from Cyber Defense Magazine (CDM), the industry’s leading provider of infosec and cybersecurity news since 2012, which were announced during RSA Conference 2021 (#RSAC 2021).
In their 9th year, the Global InfoSec Awards honor innovators and best of breed products and services. Winners are determined based on three major criteria: understanding tomorrow’s threats, today; providing a cost-effective solution; and innovating in unexpected ways that can help stop the next breach.
Spirion won in the following categories:
- Next-Gen in Privacy Management Software
- Editor’s Choice in Digital Footprint Security
- Editor’s Choice in Compliance
- Hot Company in Cybersecurity Analytics
Publisher of Cyber Defense Magazine, Gary S. Miliefsky, stated: “We scoured the globe looking for cybersecurity innovators that could make a huge difference and potentially help turn the tide against the exponential growth in cyber crime. Spirion is absolutely worthy of these coveted awards and consideration for deployment in your environment.”
Spirion Chief Marketing Officer, Jen Holtvluwer, shared: “We are thrilled to receive one of the most prestigious cybersecurity awards in the world from Cyber Defense Magazine in four categories. We are especially honored that our Privacy-Grade™ data protection solutions have been recognized by the Global InfoSec Award’s esteemed panel of infosecurity expert judges as ‘Next-Gen in Privacy Management Software.’ Doing anything less than automatically discovering, purposefully classifying, and remediating information in real-time to effectively reduce the footprint of sensitive data puts an organization’s most personal and regulated data at risk.”
How the Global InfoSec Awards are Judged
The judges are Certified Information Systems Security Professionals (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) and FMDHS certified security professionals who voted on applicants based on their independent review of the company’s submission and materials including but not limited to data sheets, white papers, product literature and other market variables. Cyber Defense Magazine has a flexible philosophy to find more innovative players with new and unique technologies rather than the one with the most customers or money in the bank. They are always asking “What’s Next?” and look for Next Generation InfoSec Solutions.
